Are we better off believing
What the ignorance suggests?

Our bodies are such intricate, moody, and touchy vessels. You like a little passion? - Great now you’re on fire. How about some depth? - Hope you like drowning! Wanna get spacey and leave this realm to tap into other dimensions? - What do you need a human body for anyway?! Oh, you want to rest and recharge and not have to think about doing or saying a single thing for just a moment? How does month long depression sound?

Ok these are extremes, I know. But if you’re someone like me with the inability to stop yourself from getting swept away in the next exhilarating or comforting thing, then the extremes are a place you know oh so well. Boundaries are hard, especially when you flee from moment to moment putting little focus on the here and now. As hard as they are, they are the pillars of self love. Self love being the strong, beautiful, intricate building that couldn’t be built without those freaking pillars. Wanna move forward with the architecture of your life mission? Then it’s time to start constructing your boundaries so the rest of the foundation has something to balance on.

Old energies are boiling up to the surface heavily right now. Ask yourself … what is something that you have done (or haven’t done) your entire life, or as long as you remember, that made you feel low or blocked from your highest expression of yourself? Sit with that. Name it. Feel it. And study it. Explore how these old realities led you to create a life inauthentic to yourself. Explore your fears and your guilt. Deep dive into the shame you’ve put on yourself or that others have out on you. And then balance it out. Match those lower vibrational realities with that of a high vibrational frequency of self acceptance, understanding, compassion, and love for not only yourself but for everyone in your life. This will bring balance and neutrality to the situation and allow you to navigate it through the clear lens of your higher self.

We all experience the peaks and valleys of the elements (fire, air, earth, water) in our lives. For example, when I have my head too high in the clouds it feels good in the moment because I’m disconnected from reality and feel so airy and free. But then I get swept so far away that I forget I’m here to live the human experience. So I breathe. The biggest breath of full, rich, oxygenated air fills my body with energy & neutralizes my mind. With this, I start to become a little more dense with each grounding breath I take. And I take in justtttt enough to keep my feet lightly dancing above ground…. I mean, I like a little elevation and optimism…. after all, it is all about the balance ;)

I encourage you this week or month (or even day) to feel everything and let every emotion pass through you and allow it to be seen and acknowledged, and honor it. Then use your power and awareness to balance out the now very present emotion with a feeling comprised of the opposing element. It is in the power of balance & the ability to neutralize that we are able to move nearly frictionless through life not allowing the turbulence to knock us off our path. This is a constant work in progress, but there will be no progress if you don’t put in the work :)
